Investing in Inclusivity
HFSS is excited to launch the 2025–2026 Enhancement Grant Program, providing $30,000 in total funding to support innovative, inclusive, and community‑building projects that help students thrive.

This grant program is designed to fund school‑based initiatives that:

  • Strengthen school communities and foster belonging
  • Promote inclusion and equitable participation
  • Create engaging, hands‑on learning experiences
  • Support student mental health and well‑being

Last year, Enhancement Grants made a meaningful impact across HWDSB schools through projects such as:

  • Indigenous Wellness and Belonging at Bellmoore Elementary School
  • The Sensory Adventure Project at Frank Panabaker North Elementary School
  • Creativity and Culture Dance Workshop at Prince of Wales Elementary School
  • Physical Education for All at Lawfield Elementary School
